Florentin Albu is the CEO and founder of Utility Computing. He is an “all-terrain” executive with strong experience of IT operations & transformations, defining strategies, mobilizing successful teams, and delivering complex programmes.
With over 15 years experience as Senior Manager in global organisations, Florentin has an excellent track record of defining the right strategies, innovating through digital, data and tech, and delivering global services across multiple geographies.
In his career, Florentin has delivered application development portfolios through traditional and agile methods, has managed in-house, offshore and outsourced teams of 20 to 300 people, and budgets of £2M to £20M+.
With a diverse industry experience which ranges from aerospace, to international affairs, to biotech, Florentin enjoys the challenge of transformations and process improvements in dynamic companies. He has a desire to innovate while focusing on delivering business value. As a recognised thought leader and a promoter of Open Data, he is regularly invited to speak at conferences and contribute to press and media coverage.
